Useful documents to have to hand

Before contacting us to discuss your situation, please gather together the following key documents to which we may want to refer:

 

  • A signed copy of your sale agreement with the developer.
  • Your new home warranty cover note.
  • Surveyors' reports or other evidence of defects in your home.
  • A note of costs and expenses you may have incurred investigating defects or putting things right yourself.
  • Some illustrative photographs of any major or extensive visible defects in your home.
  • Floor plans, technical drawings, approved planning documents, detailed written specifications etc.
  • Confirmation of the planning permission reference number for your development.
  • Any other documentation you consider we should know about.
